Yarn Merino Delight
Swatch: 21 sts/31 rows on 4 mm needles – double moss stitch
Needles: 40 cm – 3 mm, 3.5 mm, and 4 mm; 80 cm – 3.5 mm and 4 mm

Double Moss stitch:
Row 1: k2, p2
Row 2: k2, p2
Row 3: p2, k2
Row 4: p2, k2
Garter stitch: knit all rows (wrong side and Right side)

place 3 sts on a cable needle in front of the work, k3, knit the sts from the cable needle
place 3 sts on a cable needle behind the work, k3, knit the sts from the cable needle
BACK:
Using 80 cm – 3.5 mm needles cast on 76 sts and make 1х1 ribbing (k1, p1) for 16 rows as in row 16 (WS) add 2 sts = 78 sts.
Set the row counter to zero.
Change to 4 mm needles and work the Double Moss stitch starting with 1 salvage st and finishing with 1 salvage st. Continue with this pattern straight for 120 rows.
Row 121: cast off 9 sts, work 24 sts, cast off the next 12 sts, work to the end of the row
LEFT SHOULDER:
Row 122: cast off 9 sts, work to the end of the row
Row 123: cast off 4 sts, work to the end of the row
Row 124: cast off 9 sts, work to the end of the row
Row 125: cast off 3 sts, work to the end of the row
Row 126: cast off the rest 8 sts
RIGHT SHOULDER:
Row 122: attach the yarn and work the row
Row 123: cast off 9 sts, work to the end of the row
Row 124: cast off 4 sts, work to the end of the row
Row 125: cast off 8 sts, work to the end of the row
Row 126: cast off the left 3 sts
FRONT:
Using 80 cm – 3.5 mm needles cast on 78 sts and make 1х1 ribbing (k1, p1) for 16 rows as in row 16 (WS) add evenly 4 sts = 82 sts.
Set the row counter to zero.
Distribute the patterns as follows:
1 salvage st, 20 sts Double Moss stitch, 3 sts Garter stitch, Chart 1, Chart 1, 3 sts Garter stitch, 20 sts Double Moss stitch, 1 salvage st
Working in this sequence, continue for 100 rows.
Row 101: work 34 sts, cast off 14 sts, work 34 sts
RIGHT SHOULDER:
Row 102: work the sts
Row 103: cast off 4 sts
Row 105: cast off 2 sts
Row 107: cast off 1 st
Row 109: cast off 1 st
Continue straight and in row 122 cast off the first 9 sts.
Row 124: cast off 9 sts, work to the end of the row
Row 126: cast off the left 8 sts
LEFT SHOULDER:
Row 102: (WS) – attach the yarn and work the row
Row 104: cast off 4 sts
Row 106: cast off 2 sts
Row 108: cast off 1 st
Row 110: cast off 1 st
Continue straight and in row 121 cast off the first 9 sts
Row 121: cast off 9 sts
Row 123: cast off 9 sts
Row 125: cast off the left 8 sts
SLEEVES:
Using 3.5 mm needles cast on 54 sts and work 1х1 ribbing for 14 rows.
Set the row counter to zero.
Change to 4 mm needles and work the Double Moss stitch and in this first row add 2 sts – each at every end of the row – 56 sts. Do this Increase again in rows 25 – 49 – 73 – 97. Work straight for 100 rows.
Row 101: cast off 8 sts, work to the end of the row
Row 102: cast off 8 sts, work to the end of the row
Row 103: cast off 8 sts, work to the end of the row
Row 104: cast off 8 sts, work to the end of the row
Row 105: cast off 8 sts, work to the end of the row
Row 106: cast off 8 sts, work to the end of the row
Row 107: cast off the left 16 sts
NECK BAND:
Using 40 cm – 3.5 mm needles on the RS pick up 36 sts from the back and 60 sts from the front. Join the work in the round. Work 1×1 ribbing for 8 rows. Change to 40 cm – 3 mm needles and work 2 rows. Change to 3.5 mm and work 8 more rows. Cast off. Fold the band inwards and sew.
