Amigurumi Rabbit with Cotton Queen

Abbreviation:

sc- single crochet stitch

PATTERN NOTES

Numbers in the brackets in the end of each row/round indicates the total sts you must have in the end of every round.

When the number is written in front of the stitch you must make this number of stitches all in next st, if the number is written after the stitch you must make it in all next stitches indicated by this number. For example : 3sc,ch2- it means make 3 sc in next st, ch2. If it is written with the number after like this sc3,ch2– it means make sc in next 3 sts, ch2.

Start filling in the parts of the toy before last 5-6 rnds. It will be easier and even.

Materials used:

100% cotton yarn or cotton/acrylic yarn. For this project I used Performance yarns Cotton Queen in colors :white (50g)and light pink ( 6g ) and a little bit black for face expressions.

THE RIBBON: ( LIGHT PINK COLOR YARN )

Row 1: Ch10, hdc in 3rd ch from the hook, hdc 7, turn

Row 2: Ch3, hdc 7, turn.

Row 3: ch3, hdc6, hdc on top of tch3.

Repeat Row 3  23 more rimes. Than join both sides with sl.st. Turn it that the joining is in the middle and take a long string of pink yarn. Turn around the bow 10 times and secure with sl.knot.

FINISHING TOUCHES:

  1. TAKE PINK POWDER AND PUT IT IN THE INNER PART OF THE EARS AND ON THE CHEEKS.
  2. TAKE BLACK STRING OF YARN AND MAKE EYEBROWS, EYELASHES AND THE MOUTH.

SEWING ALL PARTS TOGETHER:

  1. FIRSTLY PIN ALL PARTS, SO IT WILL BE VISIBLE IS ALL OF THEM ARE CENTERED OR NOT. YOU WILL SEE IF YOU LIKE THE FACE EXPRESSIONS OR NOT.
  2. SEW THE HEAD ON THE BODY
  3. SEW HANDS ON THE BODY
  4. SEW FOOTS UNDER THE BODY
  5. SEW THE EARS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE HEAD( YOU CAN SEW THEM TO STAY BACKSIDE OR SIDEWAYS)
  6. SEW THE BOW BETWEEN THE EARS.
