Beanie Hat – Free crochet instruction

Beanie Hat with Cotton Queen 

Rnd 1: Ch3, V-st in center of each shell around, join with slip st to top of ch-3. You now have 25 (26) V-sts and I ch-3.

Rnd 2: Ch3, V-st in each V-st around, join with slip st to top of ch-3.

Rnd 3: Ch3, dc in each V-st around, join with slip stich to top of ch-3. You now have  26 (27)dk.

Rnd 4: Ch3, *skip 1 dc, dc in next dc, repeat from * around to last 1 (2) dc, skip last 1(2) dc, join with slip st to top of ch-3.

Rnd 5: Ch2 – hdc in next dc,skip 1  dc, repeat from * around, join with slip st to top of ch-2

Rnd 6: Ch 1, * sc  in next hdc, skip I hdc, repeat from * to end of md, join with slip st to top of first sc.

Join the yarn to the bottom edge of hat with a slip st to begining of round.

See hole at the top of the hat closed with a yarn needle. Weave in edns. Wash and block.
