Cascade Yarns® Sateen Worsted 100% Acrylic

100 g (3.5 oz) / 225 yds (206 m)

1 skein color # 21 (Cream)

Small amounts (1 yd or so) for embroidery thread

Other colors used #08 (Candy Pink), #20 (Lemonade) and #30 (Spring Green)

3 buttons ½” Crochet Hook size G Yarn Needle

 

YOKE:

Ch 60.

Row 1:  Dc in 4th ch from hook, 1 dc in each of next 6 ch (back), 3 dc in next ch, 1 dc in each of next 11 ch (sleeve, both sizes), 3 dc in next ch, 1 dc in each of next 16 ch (front), 3 dc in next ch, 1 dc in each of next 11 ch (other sleeve), 3 dc in next ch, 1 dc in each of next 8 ch. (back) (66 dc counting ch 3 as a dc) Turn.

Row 2: Ch 3, sk 1st dc, dc in each of next 8 dc, 3 dc in next dc (center dc of 3 dc group of row below), dc in each of next 13 dc, 3 dc in next dc, dc in each of next 18 dc, 3 dc in next dc, dc in each of next 13 dc, 3 dc in next dc, dc in each of next 8 dc, dc in top of ch 3.

Row 3:  Ch 3, sk first dc, dc in each of next 9 dc, 3 dc in next dc, (sk next dc, shell of 5 dc in next dc) 7 times (sleeve ruffle), sk next dc, 3 dc in next dc, dc in each of next 20 dc, 3 dc in next dc, (sk next dc, shell of 5 dc in next dc) 7 times (other sleeve ruffle), sk next dc. 3 dc in next dc, dc in each of next 9 dc, dc in top of turning chain.

 

Row 4: Ch 3, sk 1st dc, dc in each of next 10 dc, 3 dc in center dc of 3 dc group, (shell of 5 dc in center dc of shell) 7 times, 3 dc in center dc of 3 dc group, dc in each of next 22 dc, 3 dc in next dc, (shell of 5 dc in center dc of shell) 7 times, 3 dc in center dc of 3 dc group, dc in each of next 10 dc, dc in top of turning ch.

BODY:

Row 5: Ch 3, sk 1st dc, dc in each of next 11 dc, 3 dc in next dc, ch 2 (5), sk sleeve ruffle, 3 dc in center dc of next 3 dc group, dc in each of next 24 dc, 3 dc in next dc, ch 2 (5), sk sleeve ruffle, 3 dc in center dc of next 3 dc group, dc in each of next 11 dc, dc in top of ch 3.

Row 6:  Ch 3, 2 dc in 1st dc (1/2 shell made), *sk next 2 sts, shell of 5 dc in next st, rep from * 19 (21) times, ending with ½ shell of 3 dc in last st (20, 22) shells plus ½ shell on each side.

Row 7:  Ch 3, 2 dc in 1st dc (1/2 shell made), shell of 5 dc in center dc of each shell across, end with half shell of 3 dc in top of ch 3.

Repeat row 7 a total of 9 (10) more times. Bottom row measures approx. 26” (29”).

Do not end off.

Scallop trim:

Working up center back, *ch 4, sc over dc (or turning ch) on next row up.; rep from * to neck edge working last sc at very top.

Continue around neck edge working ch 4, and sk one st, sc in next st around to top at center back. Work down back as for other side.

Across the bottom, ch 4, sk 1 dc, sc in next dc across. End off.

Work scallop trim around both sleeves. End off.

Finishing:

Weave in all ends. Sew 3 buttons on. (The loops from the trim become the button loops.)

Note: Embroidered flowers are made using Lazy Daisy Stitch and the centers are French Knots.
