TIPS:

STUFFING SOFT TOY

The way you stuff will be crucial in determining the finished product shape. For the cat, I use a polyester stuffing

and I recommend putting in small amounts of stuffing and building up a shape. Try to fill up right to the end, in all

corners.

CLARIFICATIONS:

Single Crochet: Insert hook in in indicated st, yarn over. Pull through loop, yarn over and pull through both loops on your hook.

Slip stitch: insert hook under the top 2 loops of the next stitch, yarn over, draw yarn through stitch and the loop on your hook in one motion (slip stitch made).

Increase: work 2 SC in one stitch.

Decrease: skip stitch and work SC in next st

Treble crochet: 1. Yarn over twice, insert the hook into the work. 2. Yarn over and draw yarn through, pulling up a loop. 3. Yarn over again and pull yarn through the first two loops only on the hook. 4. Yarn over again and pull yarn through the first two loops only on the hook. 5. Yarn over again and pull yarn through the last two loops on the hook. One treble made.

FPtr: usual TR but when working post st, insert hook from right to left around post st of previous row.

Face design.

Before you sew the ears and embroider the nose and eyes, we will make a markup and place the pins at the right points.

Assemble
First of all, sew the buttons on the arms and legs
Arms Count 2-3 Rd from the neck down (sew each arm separate)
Legs Sew legs on 7th Round from the end of the body (sew each arm separate)
Embroider the nose at the place of increases of 17th rd. Nose width 2-3sts
Eyes: count 3 sts to the sides from the nose and sew the beads on. I recommend to make.

In order to make the face more voluminous, I recommend “overtighten” of the eyes, just take the thread and needle, insert from the back side of the head through the eye and come back where you started, tie. Repeat it with the 2nd eye

Ears: on the 8th round
