Directions:

BACK: Cast on 86 stitches. Knit 8 rows with knit stitches. From row 9 on, knit following the diagram No 1. Repeat the diagram 2 times in height /repeat 2 times all rows from 1 to 11 included/ and 8 times in width. Knit row 23 of the knitwear as row 13 of the diagram No 1. Continue knitting with knit stitches till finishing the back.

BACK NECK CURVE : Decrease 3 stitches in the middle of row 80. Separate the knitwear in 2 parts and knit them separately one after the other. Decrease 1 stitch on every second row 11 times. Knit straight till finishing.

ARM CURVE: Decrease 3 stitches at row 89. Decrease 1 stitch on every second row 9 times. Then you have 15 stitches on the needle. Knit straight till finishing.

FRONT: Knit identical to the BACK till row 24. Knit row 25 in knit stitches. Knit the next 16 rows starting with 4 knit stitches, followed by 81 stitches according to diagram No 2,ended by 4 knit stitches. Knit the next 16 rows starting with 12 knit stitches, followed by 65 stitches according to diagram No 2, ended by 12 knit stitches. Knit the next 16 rows starting with 20 knit stitches, 36 stitches according to diagram No 2, ended by 20 knit stitches. Knit the next 16 rows starting with 28 knit stitches, 32 stitches according to diagram No 2, ended by 28 knit stitches. Knit the next 16 rows starting with 36 knit stitches, 17 stitches according to diagram No 2, ended by 36 knit stitches.

FRONT NECK CURVE and ARM CURVE : Starting from row 80 knit identically as for the curves for the back.

FINISHING: Join the front and back by sewing first the shoulder lines and then the sides. Wash it gently with lukewarm water and dry flat

    I like this pattern, but you have it as a crochet pattern and the directions are for knitting. It is a little confusing, but I believe that I have an idea as to how this pattern is to be knitted.
