Three inspiring and creative ideas for making a greeting card with yarn

Do you love yarns? Can you crochet? Personally, I can’t! However, I love using yarns to create new exciting craft items from it.

We would like to share with you some of our ideas, in order to inspire and encourage you to create greeting cards using yarns, which could be great gifts for your friends and loved ones.

Materials needed: Yarns, colorful paper, glue, scissors, decorative elements and a lot of imagination.

The creation of such type of greeting cards is extremely easy. All you need is a greeting card with a window, which you can find in any bookstore, or you could simply create your own version of it. After which you cut out of the yarn the same lengths of bundles, then you stick them tightly to each other and wait for them to dry. Done! It was not difficult, was it? And the end result is very interesting.

Materials needed: felt, colorful paper, glue, scissors, yarns and threads and of course imagination.

To make this greeting card it is necessary to cut two heart shapes of the desired size, then stick one of them to the card, while stick the other just to the contour of the already glued heart. Add a “tail” of yarn to finish the heart. And done!

Materials needed: colorful paper, glue, scissors, crocheted heart

The creation of our third idea of a greeting card is not hard for execution at all. First you need to crochet a heart. For the purpose, look at the following video:

After you finish the heart it is necessary to glue it on the already card-shaped colorful paper. If you wish you can add other decorative elements as a finish-touch.
